Description |
China head doll, 24 inches, that belonged to Laura (Wermeling) Eaton. She was the daughter of Henry and Sarah (Fry) Wermeling who had a dairy farm on Old State Road. Laura was born October 31, 1882. She had 3 brothers - George (1878), Perry (1879) and Floyd (1884). The doll is wearing baptismal clothes worn by the children. Laura married Jack Eaton in 1903. They lived on a farm on Silverthorn Road. They had a son, Elmer, and a daughter, Elsie (Shreve). Elsie gave the doll to the donor. |
