An album of postcards and photos of the Edinboro College. It was founded in 1856 as Edinboro Academy and became Edinboro State Normal School, a state school, in 1861. In 1927 the name became Edinboro State Teacher College. In 1960 it was known as Edinboro College and, finally, Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1983. It is the second oldest training institution in Pennsylvania.

A 8 x 10 inch gray book labeled "Composition Book." Inside are handwritten records of the Sunday School Classes of the Methodist Church. It begins with the organization on March 15, 1896 and lists the teachers, officers, students until 1907. The book belonged to Florence Schraeder.

An 18 x 23 inch metal plaque encased in a wooden frame. It reads, "This building was the first frame school house built in Edinboro...in 1825 by William Culbertson-a poineer-who was the first settler in this area 1795-1796 and who took up one thousand acres of land around the lake and along the outlet..."
